Erie County Sheriff’s PBA Endorses Matt Szalkowski

for State Assembly

Buffalo, NY - On Wednesday, August 26, Matt Szalkowski proudly announced his endorsement by the Erie County Sheriff’s PBA. Matt Szalkowski is running for State Assembly in the 142nd District.

In a letter from PBA President Timothy Donovan, he noted that they, “recognized [Szalkowski’s] outstanding work within the Erie County community, specifically the legal community as we considered this endorsement.”

Matt Szalkowski said, “Thank you to the Erie County Sheriff’s PBA for putting your trust in me. I am a prosecutor, not a politician and I know first hand the hard work of law enforcement who have dedicated their lives to protecting and serving our community. At a time when politicians are calling to defund the police - I stand with law enforcement. The so-called bail reform laws have weakened the criminal justice system while emboldening criminals. I am running for Assembly to put my experience as a prosecutor to work, and get New York back on track.”

Matt Szalkowski is the endorsed Republican and Conservative candidate, running in for Assembly in District 142 to represent West Seneca, Orchard Park, Lackawanna, and South Buffalo.
