This is terrible, friends: News just broke that the Trump administration is removing mail-sorting machines from New Hampshire.
This November, vote-by-mail will be crucial in protecting both our public health and our democracy. But Trump is doing everything he can to create barriers to voting.
With our democracy depending on a fully functional U.S. Postal Service to conduct mail-in voting, I need another 189 Democrats to speak out before midnight:
Should Congress protect the USPS to safeguard mail-in voting?
DEADLINE: 11:59 P.M.

Make no mistake: This is GOP voter suppression, plain and simple. And to make the situation even worse, the USPS is on the verge of bankruptcy.
The USPS is not only crucial to ensuring that each and every American is able to exercise their fundamental right to vote in November, but it's also crucial to ensuring that millions of Americans are able to receive vital resources like food and prescriptions.
That's why my colleagues and I are doing everything we can to make sure the USPS can continue serving our nation when we need it most. But with Trump going out of his way to manufacture mail delays ahead of the election, it's more important than ever to speak out to defend the post office and the right to vote by mail.
Right now, I need another 189 Democrats like you to lend your voice in support of the USPS and our unalienable right to vote by mail. But this poll closes at midnight tonight, so please let me know right away where you stand:
Should Congress protect the USPS to safeguard mail-in voting?
DEADLINE: 11:59 P.M.

Thank you for weighing in today. Your voice is so important.
Best,
Jeanne
