In a moment, I'm going to ask if you can chip in $5, or anything you can, before our end-of-quarter fundraising deadline. But first, I want to tell you a bit about why, exactly, I'm asking for your hard earned dollars in the first place:

As a doctor, I've spent my life helping people through some of their hardest days. I've sat with families when they were scared, frustrated, or unsure of what might come next. Lately, that's how a lot of people are feeling about our country.

People are worried about losing healthcare. They're worried about attacks on reproductive freedom. They're worried about whether their children will have the same opportunities they had.

Republican leaders are openly talking about continuing down Donald Trump's same destructive path after the midterms. They think voters will tune out, and they're counting on good people to throw up their hands and decide there's nothing they can do.

I refuse to accept that, and you shouldn't either. Our end-of-quarter deadline is approaching, and this is our chance to show we don't accept the status quo and are ready to take back the House in November.
