My name is Nichole Trujillo Rice, and I recently joined the California Democratic Party as Political Director.

CHIP IN $ >> [[link removed]]Now a little bit about me: I’ve spent nearly two decades helping elect Democrats, building diverse coalitions, and organizing alongside labor unions, advocates, and local leaders across California because I believe real change starts in our communities.
And over the years, I’ve learned something important: Electing Democrats who stand up for working families, fight for affordability, and make sure every voice is heard takes year-round organizing. It takes listening and showing up in communities across our state.
That’s one of the biggest reasons I joined the California Democratic Party.
Through our Forever Organizing program, we’ve been on the ground since the first week of January recruiting volunteers, strengthening local Democratic infrastructure, and building momentum and relationships in communities across the state.
Now, it’s time to put that work to the test.
In just a few weeks, California Democrats will face two critical Congressional special elections. The organizing we’ve been doing all year has put us in a strong position, but we need to turn our momentum into action.
That means mobilizing volunteers, reaching voters, and making sure our organizers have the resources they need to elect Democrats who will stand up for their constituents and communities and win in the final weeks.
It’s why this End-of-Quarter deadline matters.
The resources we raise before Tuesday will help us take the organizing foundation we’ve built and turn it into real results in August.
