We have just three days until the FEC deadline, and we want to be straight with you about the choice in this race.

When a reporter asked Rob Wittman where he stood on cuts to Social Security, he pulled out his phone and faked a call for 90 seconds until the reporter gave up and walked away.

When about 150 of his own constituents packed a town hall to demand answers on federal cuts last year, he didn't show. So they set up an empty chair where he should have been and asked their questions to it.

That's who represents Virginia's First District right now: someone who will do almost anything to avoid answering to you.

Jason is the opposite. He spent twenty-one years in uniform, accountable for other people's lives. He is a man who answers the hard question rather than dodging it, because oversight requires that the powerful explain themselves, rather than letting them run and hide.

In November, Wittman doesn't get to fake a phone call. He answers to the voters. But first, this campaign has to prove it can go the distance.
