One of Maura’s top priorities is combating the opioid epidemic that is devastating our communities. Whether it’s suing Purdue Pharma for its role in creating this crisis, expanding access to Narcan or investing in prevention education, Maura is putting every resource at their disposal into this fight. And we know she needs partners in this fight at the federal, state and local level.

That’s why she’s excited to join Jesse Mermell, Democratic candidate for Congress in Massachusetts’ Fourth District, Dave Cavell, former MA-04 candidate and former Assistant Attorney General, and Democratic activist Kate Donaghue for a virtual community conversation about the work we still need to do to tackle this crisis. 

As you know, Maura has endorsed Jesse and voting is happening now through Tuesday, September 1st in this critical race. Jesse will be a key partner for Maura in Congress and will prioritize the opioid crisis for her District and all of us.
