I wanted to give you a quick update on how our fundraising for this month has been going, right before the August fundraising deadline on Monday. But before I explain any further, will you chip in $7.50 to our campaign and help us get even closer to our goal for the month?

This month, our campaign has rolled out big plans compared to what most political campaigns are doing in this period in between the primary and the general election.

From running petition campaigns around the USPS to rolling out our census work in NY-16, our team of volunteers and organizers have been busy going above and beyond what's expected — because our communities are counting on us.

But unfortunately, our fundraising hasn't followed suit with the volume of work that we have had planned. We now have six more days left in the month, but we're only 73% to goal. Normally, we would be more than 80% of the way to goal by this point in the month.

Given our rising operating expenses, additional organizing work, and a big election coming up, it's critical that we meet our fundraising goal of $100,000 this month to keep us going strong through November. And as a grassroots, people-powered campaign, we rely on donations from individual donors like you to operate.

Our average online contribution this month is $16.75. Some folks give more, some folks give less, and all contributions go directly to paying for our tech tools, organizers, and strengthening the progressive coalition. Will you chip in whatever you're able to and help us get closer to our August fundraising goal?
