Dear Friend,
A lot of people know PETA for being outspoken on animal rights issues—from using animals for experimentation to raising and killing them for human consumption. But did you know that our fieldworkers are on the ground daily in impoverished areas of Virginia and North Carolina caring for neglected animals who would otherwise go without life's necessities?
A new documentary from executive producer Anjelica Huston, Breaking the Chain
[[link removed]] , follows these dedicated humans as they brave the front lines of the animal neglect and overpopulation crisis, working hard to help the less fortunate and alleviate further suffering against almost unimaginable odds.
Breaking the Chain is a must-see film that celebrates real efforts to change the world for companion animals and the behind-the-scenes work of the people who are making it happen.
This eye-opening documentary will be released on September 1 on all major video-on-demand services. It's currently available to preorder on Apple TV [[link removed]] and in the iTunes Store [[link removed]] .
The film will also be available for viewing as an official selection of the Richmond International Film Festival [[link removed]] from September 8 to 13 and as an official selection of the American Documentary and Animation Film Festival [[link removed]] from September 25 to October 4.
Don't miss it!
Sincerely,
PETA
