John,

My Republican incumbent opponent, David Schweikert, was caught on video dismissing a woman whose husband has cancer. His response to her fear that lives -- including her husband's -- will be at stake if the Affordable Care Act is taken away?

"You're fine."

The reality is that she represents so many Arizonans who have been left in the lurch thanks to Republicans' greed and lack of reliance on science and data.

I'm a former ER doctor. After medical school, I took an oath to "do no harm."

Today, I believe that our leaders should do more than "do no harm." Instead, they should do all they can to make their constituents' lives better.

My opponent -- the same man who committed 11 ethics violations and misused his campaign funds to pay for babysitting and dry cleaning -- has failed to abide by that principle.

Schweikert has turned his back on us during this pandemic. He's taken $450,000 from the insurance industry. He's voted to take away health care from Arizona's most vulnerable families, including the family of the brave woman in the video.

My Republican opponent cannot be trusted, which is why I'm running to unseat him. Will you make a contribution -- even $10 would mean the world -- to my campaign today?

Thank you for anything you can give to power our fight for a better future. Together, we'll give AZ-06 a leader they can trust.
