Sorry to interrupt your Saturday, John, so we will be quick: We’re about $1,700 short of where we need to be right now in order to stay on track for our fundraising goals.

We’ve got just under 24 hours left to make up that margin, and I know a lot of folks are out on vacation right now. Honestly, that’s a big part of why we’re still behind for the month, but it’s also going to make catching up that much more challenging. And Matt’s counting on us to come out ahead.

Our opponents are counting on us, too -- to fall short. They also know this is a tough time for fundraising, and they’re also watching for any sign of weakness as they start up their 2020 campaign efforts in earnest.
