We're getting ready to kick off our "In Your Corner" Town Hall tour next week, and I can hardly wait.  Our town halls will be so much different than your average political events. They aren't just about questions and answers (and they definitely aren't about cagey, canned, professional politician answers). They're about organizing. And amplifying the voices of Mainers. And getting to work.

That's because our campaign is a true grassroots, people-powered campaign. We're not schmoozing lobbyists and political insiders. We're not cozying up to big donors at swanky high-dollar dinners. We're going door to door, sitting at kitchen tables, and listening to Mainers.

For years, one thing that's been very clear for me is that the way you campaign is the way you'll lead. That's why I've worked to get big money out of politics. It's why I refuse corporate PAC money. It's why I never stop talking about progressive values – no matter who the audience is. And that's why we're building a movement with thousands of grassroots donors like you.
