John,

On October 1, Affordable Homes & Communities (AHC) is celebrating 50 years of transformative stories at our 50th Anniversary Celebration.

As we gear up for the event, we're taking a moment to spotlight the stories of the volunteers, leaders, and residents who have made the last 50 years possible.

Today, we thought we'd share a few of our favorite stories.

Before and After: Four Stories of Preservation

An aging building, a foreclosure sale, or a community at a crossroads — no matter the circumstances, AHC sees an opportunities to preserve properties and build communities.

AHC Origins: Early Advocates Look Back on 50 Years

In April 1975, an Arlington public forum brought together a group of community leaders seeking solutions to the growing affordable housing crisis. Fifty years later, their answer is still making a difference.

None of this happens without the supporters, partners, and community members who have invested in AHC's mission over five decades. On October 1, we're celebrating what that investment has built, and what we're building next.

We can't wait to see you!

Warmly,

Katie
