→ He proposed to defund the Peace Corps.
Yes, the organization that sends American volunteers to provide life-saving services in struggling countries. Another addition to his list of critical organizations he's gutted, along with Medicare, SNAP and the National Parks Service. Thanks, Scott Perry!
→ He claimed that "everybody loves what is happening" in Iran and "everybody loves that America is doing it."
Mr. Perry, I can personally assure you that not everybody "LOVES" the war in Iran. Maybe if he bothered to listen to his constituents, or, I don't know, read a single headline, he would know that.
→ He was the only member from Pennsylvania to vote AGAINST the bipartisan housing bill…for the second time.
The bill will make housing more affordable for families, but Perry's priorities are more about lining the pockets of his shady allies than supporting working people trying to get by.
John, Pennsylvania's 10th is a must-win seat for Democrats if we are going to take back the U.S. House in November.
