Radical.

It's a word you hear Republicans, the media, and the political establishment lob at progressive leaders like Ilhan Omar all the time.

But let’s set the record straight.

Wanting every American to have access to life-saving healthcare without going broke is not radical.

Believing that our taxpayer money is better spent building schools and fixing roads rather than funding genocide and going to war is not radical.

Saying that we should have a fair and balanced democracy without the massive influence of mega-wealthy groups like AIPAC is not radical.

They call us radical because our people-first agenda threatens their bottom line. It threatens the billionaires who enjoy massive tax breaks, the defense contractors who get rich every time we go to war, and the Super PACs who enjoy the unlimited power to handpick candidates.

What’s truly radical is letting hundreds of thousands of people sleep in the streets every night in the wealthiest nation on earth. What’s truly radical is spending over a trillion dollars on our military budget while millions of kids go hungry.

Ilhan Omar fights for you and me, and if they want to call that radical, so be it.

If you believe in this agenda, if you believe that we can do so much better for our neighbors and our communities, chip in to our campaign today. We have a big FEC deadline coming up, and every dollar we raise helps us show the size and strength of this “radical” movement for simple and common sense ideas >>
