Here's the deal: All campaigns are required by the FEC to report their fundraising. It means we, along with our Republican opponent, will be able to assess the strength of this grassroots movement.

The honest truth is it takes a lot of effort to run a campaign like this one. We're firing on all cylinders to reach voters with our message: making phone calls, knocking on doors, planting yard signs, and training volunteers.

Through it all, the most important part of my job is showing up for Illinoisans. It's why I work so hard in Washington to deliver results – to tackle the affordability crisis and stand up to the Trump agenda making life harder for so many.

That's why today I'm only asking you to chip in $5. It's the amount of a cup of coffee, but when more and more folks contribute, it means the difference between finishing strong or falling short on Tuesday.
