The Trump administration just delivered another devastating setback in the battle to protect America’s beautiful natural environment: They’ve announced that drilling will begin in the Arctic National Wildlife Refuge.

Unfortunately, this isn’t even the first time we’ve heard such news this year. Only two months ago they announced plans to start drilling off of Florida’s own pristine coastline, potentially ruining it for the foreseeable future.

Friends, this administration has demonstrated time and again their complete lack of respect for our nation’s magnificent natural places -- and for the Americans who value and depend on them. Since being elected to Congress, Stephanie Murphy has fought tirelessly to protect Florida’s beautiful lands, waters, beaches, and wildlife. And she will continue to do so as long as she’s in Congress. But we must all do our part.
