We've faced FEC filing deadlines before, but this one hits different.
The primary made it real: CA-50 is an actual battleground this time. The national Republicans who want to flip seats across California are circling this seat as one of the handful they need to expand their majority.
The end-of-quarter FEC report at midnight on June 30 is how we prove that Scott has a movement stronger than they think.
If we post a weak number that gives the GOP confirmation they can win here. A strong number tells them to stay out of San Diego.
Please read Scott's message below, then pitch in $10 or $15 before the deadline in a few days to show GOP extremists Scott has the support to keep winning in CA-50 - even as the district changes shape so dramatically.

The results of our 2026 primary were a wake-up call.
I came out on top with 47.7% of the vote, but my GOP opponent was just 6.3-points behind me in a district most people think is “safe.”
The reality is – we aren’t safe.
CA-50 has become one of the most competitive seats in Southern California, and national Republicans have noticed.
They are pouring money into races because they believe that this year is the year they expand their conservative House majority.
I refuse to let that happen – but I can’t fight an opponent who was hand-picked by the Republican party to run against me on willpower alone.
The next Federal Elections Commission (FEC) deadline is at midnight on June 30th, and it’s the first real test of our strength since the primary. Will you chip in a few dollars to show we’re not giving up any ground here in San Diego?

I’m not taking a single vote, or a single day, for granted. You can’t either.
Thank you,
Scott
