Friend,

As we celebrate the LGBTQ+ community and honor those who struggled in the fight for human rights and equality this Pride Month, having your support means everything.

Add your name if you agree that y’all means ALL — and that no one, no matter who they are or who they love, should ever live in fear. ([link removed])

LGBTQ+ children and families deserve safe, affirming and inclusive spaces. But, as of this June, 19 states have at least one LGBTQ-specific school censorship law — and state legislators are continuing to introduce bigoted legislation intended to violently force LGBTQ+ people back into the closet.

Together, we’re responding to these discriminatory attacks — whether that means suing to block discriminatory legislation, tracking and exposing anti-LGBTQ+ hate groups or representing victims of hate in court. Thanks, in part, to your support, we’re ready to counter these threats.

Friend, thank you for always standing up for the LGBTQ+ community and sharing our belief that y’all means all. ([link removed])

Friend,

As a steadfast supporter of our work, can you take a moment to add your name to show that you stand with the LGBTQ+ community — and against hate in all its forms? ([link removed])

The anti-LGBTQ+ movement is the strongest it’s been in decades. Children and families are being targeted, LGBTQ+ histories and experiences are being misrepresented and erased, and states across the country have introduced hundreds of bills designed to prevent access to age-appropriate, medically necessary care.

We know you share our outrage.

Thanks, in part, to your support, the Southern Poverty Law Center continues to advocate for LGBTQ+ justice, eradicate extremist movements and work toward a more inclusive world where our diversity is celebrated, not shamed.

Your partnership is so important — thank you for playing a huge role in our work. Friend, add your name if you agree that y’all means ALL — and that no one should ever live in fear for their safety because of who they are or who they love. ([link removed])

The SPLC has a track record of going to bat for LGBTQ+ communities across the country — winning landmark cases, publishing reports exposing anti-LGBTQ+ hate, defeating harmful legislation and working in community to resist hate and build political power.

In 2015, we won a first-of-its-kind lawsuit against an organization that fraudulently claimed to "convert" gay individuals to straight. The case was brought after three people were harmed by a discredited, dangerous and debunked practice known as conversion therapy.

In 2024, alongside partners, we sued the Cobb County, Georgia, school district for firing Katie Rinderle, a fifth-grade gifted teacher, for reading an age-appropriate book to her students about self-acceptance and navigating gender stereotypes.

Our policy teams across the Deep South advocate tirelessly each year to prevent anti-LGBTQ+ bills from passing in our state legislatures. Our Georgia, Alabama and Mississippi teams’ advocacy has contributed to blocking all proposed anti-LGBTQ+ legislation in their states in 2026.

Still, we have our work cut out for us. But thanks, in part, to your help, we can keep exposing anti-LGBTQ+ groups and dismantling their ideology from the ground up. Add your name today to support the movement for justice and help build a world where all can thrive, no matter who they love. ([link removed])
