If you watched the first night of the Donald Trump Convention, you saw that Republicans are determined to paint a picture of the pandemic response that simply isn’t real.
Despite nearly 180,000 deaths and millions more losing their job and health insurance, convention speakers lined up to congratulate Donald Trump for the “great” job he’s done. It was truly bizarre to witness.
Donald Trump’s failed leadership has worsened the crisis. You know it, I know it, and Republicans know it. But the reason why they can't admit that is because their hands are just as dirty.
The Heroes Act is currently collecting dust on Mitch McConnell’s desk while Americans needlessly suffer. As communities across the country wait on much-needed relief, Republican are instead ignoring reality and tending to Donald Trump's ego.
We shouldn't expect to hear much honesty at this week's GOP convention. What we should expect — and demand — is action from Republicans during the most significant public health crisis in a century. Add your name today if you’re with me.
