The Republican National Convention is underway this week.
In his very first speech of the convention, President Trump repeated old lies about Joe Biden, voting by mail, the economy, and the ongoing pandemic.
That is the kind of leadership -- or lack thereof -- we have in the White House right now.
We can't afford to continue on the path Trump has laid out for our country, and we can't afford anymore lies. We need to send Joe Biden to the White House. If you are able, please split a contribution between Joe's campaign and mine before the week is over.
While Trump recycles his favorite lies, you know what he hasn't talked about? Climate change.
Thursday marks one year since Trump skipped a critical meeting at the G7 Summit addressing climate change. In the ensuing year, Trump has doubled down on his rollbacks of climate action -- reckless and dangerous decisions that will increase air pollution, and ultimately, lead to more deaths.
Instead of taking steps to protect our environment, Trump is bending to the will of special interests and escalating the effects of climate change.
Trump doesn't have a plan to address climate change. Joe Biden does.
Joe rolled out a comprehensive plan that would build on the climate progress made by the Obama-Biden Administration by investing $1.7 trillion in clean energy. Joe knows that an investment in clean energy is an investment in our economy and his plan would create 10 million new good-paying jobs.
John, Joe has a plan for our country and our future. If you are able, split a contribution between Joe's campaign and mine before the end of the week.
Thank you,
TC
