How the Chamber of Commerce's Scorecard Elevates Climate Deniers 

Last year the powerful U.S. Chamber of Commerce publicly acknowledged for the first time that human-driven climate change is real, stating: “inaction is not an option.” But a new Chamber scorecard celebrates climate deniers in Congress, awarding nine-of-ten the coveted “Spirit of Enterprise” award that guides the Chamber’s political endorsements and election funding. How to Use Forests to Fend Off a Water and Energy Crisis in Colombia 

In Colombia, unusually low rainfall in April is now threatening the country’s hydro-electric supply, with some important reservoirs only about a third full. Such erratic rainfall patterns are increasingly common, in Colombia and elsewhere, due to climate change. Is urban India going underwater again? 

Stormwater infrastructure in cities like Bengaluru and Delhi are often overwhelmed by heavy rainfall, disrupting public services and putting citizens at risk. Yet city officials continue to focus on improving grey infrastructure, such as drains and pumps, neglecting green solutions that work with nature.
