Hey Swing Left,

This week Trump will use his biggest megaphone yet to blast out hatred, misinformation and outright lies at the Republican National Convention. But we don’t have to watch our democracy slip away.

We can’t let this distract us—we have to stay laser focused on getting Democrats elected up and down the ballot this November. So we’re turning off the RNC and getting to work.

That's why we’re holding a big Weekend of Action to call Super State voters and get them ready to cast their ballots. With less than 70 days until Election Day, we need everyone’s help to reach voters. Can we count on you to make calls this weekend, John?

We’re protecting our democracy by making calls this weekend. Since we can’t knock doors, calling voters is more impactful and important than ever before, especially since volunteers are reporting that more folks are picking up their phone during quarantine. By targeting voters in key states, you’ll be making an impact on many key races at once. Some of these phone banks will help folks request a mail-in ballot, while others will generally remind them to vote—either way, these calls are absolutely vital.
