Here’s a quick snapshot:



- This past weekend, we held a record-breaking Virtual Weekend of Action with nearly one thousand volunteers reaching out to more than 40,000 Canadians;
- Early Monday, the Conservative Party selected Erin O’Toole as their new leader;
- And last week, Justin Trudeau announced a Speech from the Throne for September 23, which will present our Liberal government’s detailed vision for changing Canada’s future for the better.

As Justin Trudeau said last week, this is our chance to build a Canada that is healthier and safer, greener, fairer, more resilient, and more competitive.


In a minority Parliament though, we can never take our progress for granted – and Erin O’Toole has been clear about wanting to take Canada back to the same harmful policies of Stephen Harper and Andrew Scheer. That would include cuts to vital services that Canadians count on, making pollution free again, weakening gun control, “defunding the CBC,” and much more.


Friend, we have worked too hard together as a movement to see our progress taken backwards – and there’s still so much more to do to keep building a better future together.


That’s why this August, we need you to help us reach our important end-of-month grassroots fundraising goal and support the important progress that Justin Trudeau and our Liberal team are making for Canadians.
