I'm Ignacio Arsuaga, the President of CitizenGO.

I'll cut right to the chase: I'm writing to you today to ask you to make a donation to CitizenGO to help meet our fundraising goal for this year. Right now, we are $212,000 behind our goal, and we need to make up the shortfall by the end of August... or face cutbacks in critical programs.

This year has been an all-out sprint... From the attempt by the radical left to take advantage of the COVID crisis to the continuous blasphemy against Christ, Christians and the Church and the LGBT indoctrination threats by big corporations like Disney and Netflix or the rise in sexually explicit content on Netflix (such as the film "365 Days").

Overall, while LGBT, cultural Marxist, pro-abortion, and anti-family lobbies still do tremendous damage, you and I and CitizenGOers around the world have fought back... and often won. We should all be proud of what we have accomplished together.

In many ways, the radical anti-family Left has met organized resistance to its agenda for the first time... and you are at the front of this resistance with CitizenGO! 

But as intense as the first half of 2020 was, the next few months will be even more consequential. The groundwork we lay over the next five months could determine whether we're able to run even more impactful and effective campaigns in the future.

That's why I'm writing to you with an important request. As I said, I need to raise $212,000 by the end of the month. In addition, it is important for us to raise a store of economic resources to rebuild our war chest for the months ahead. Will you chip in?

Here are a few of the campaigns we participated in during the first half of the year:

  • Over 1.5 million faithful used our platform to fight against the blasphemous movie “The First Temptation of Christ” on Netflix and join our impactful boycott campaign.
  • During the first months of COVID, we purchased and delivered one million face masks to help protect nurses, doctors, and first responders. At the same time, CitizenGO was vigilant against leftist politicians and lobbyists using the crisis to promote their radical agenda. For example, defending our essential freedom to worship during the pandemic and to stop abhorrent home abortion practices.
  • Your voice was necessary to defend the unborn at the United Nations as we defeated attempts to push for abortion funding as relief during the COVID pandemic. Thankfully, because of you, the controversial paragraphs on abortion were finally withdrawn from the CPD final document.
  • We petitioned against the highly explicit film "365 Days" on Netflix's Top Ten. Your voices sparked controversy in the media and highlighted the dangers of this film globally.
  • We delivered your signatures and took them to the floor, live, during Disney shareholders’ annual meeting, demanding that Disney CEO stops promoting the LGBT agenda and gender indoctrination. We are still running a long and intense campaign on this topic. We will not quit, nor back down.
  • We are currently involved in a global campaign (more than 500,000 signatures already collected) to stop the blasphemous Hollywood movie Habit, which portrays Christ as a woman who engages in a myriad of inappropriate and salacious acts while also serving as the romantic lesbian foil for the main female character.
  • We are also engaged in a campaign addressed to Mark Zuckerberg to keep Facebook an open and free public square and block George Soros' efforts to censor speeches like ours.
  • Because of all these powerful actions, we are in the spotlight of the radical left media and lobbies, who are always trying to demonize, discredit, and censor us. 

We need to raise a store of economic resources so that we can continue working effectively and impactfully on these campaigns. Once we do so, I’ll feel more comfortable greenlighting the ambitious projects our campaigners want to lead for the rest of the year. Will you chip in?

Our campaigns team is cooking up truly exciting plans to add to those we are already running:

  • CitizenGO can rapidly and effectively reach more than 14 million members all over the world with our email alerts, flooding decision-makers with emails, text messages, and calls, and mobilizing flash-mob actions in rapid response moments. But this requires us to maintain an infrastructure of staff and volunteer leaders. As you can imagine, we have to pay for the emails we send. 
  • Post pandemic, we’re gearing up for a major global mobilization that will include rallies, days of action, signature deliveries, and advertising campaigns to generate political impact in the United States and all over the world.
  • We have plans to bring your voice wherever it is needed to defend and promote your values, including activities like coalition-building with other organizations, meetings with politicians and decision-makers, press calls, and networking.

Those are just a few highlights. When we sit down to decide how to spend our budget, we don’t want to cut any of these ambitious activities… Instead, we want to say yes to all of them!

This will require us to stay alert and work on many fronts at once. Right now, we don't have enough resources to tackle all our campaigns and achieve a notable impact with them.
