Friends – President Trump has been relentlessly trying to undermine our elections for one reason and one reason only: He knows that if more people vote this November, he will lose.

That's why he is spreading falsehoods about the legitimacy of mail-in ballots. That's why he is blocking funding for the U.S. Postal Service – to stop vote-by-mail. And now, that's why he is lying about his ability to delay the presidential election.

Only Congress has the power to change Election Day, and Trump's call to delay it is a dangerous attack on our democracy. Every single one of us MUST stand up and resist President Trump's desperate attempts to stay in power. We MUST protect our fundamental right to vote.
