Hello,

Donald Trump and Mike Pence officially became the 2020 Republican ticket last night at the Republican National Convention.

And if Democrats don't vote this November, Trump and Pence will be back in the White House on January 20, 2021.

Polls look favorable for Joe Biden and Kamala Harris right now -- but they also looked favorable for Hillary Clinton and Tim Kaine in 2016. Then Democrats didn't show up to the polls, helping to elect Donald Trump and Mike Pence.

There is still a path for a GOP victory this fall. Nate Silver gives Trump and Pence a 27 percent chance to win this election -- roughly the same odds as in November 2016.

And Republicans are fired up -- the RNC raised $30 million more than the DNC in July.

That money will undoubtedly go to the GOP's ongoing efforts to suppress the vote, such as lawsuits against states moving toward universal vote-by-mail, as Republicans try to steal another term for Trump and Pence.

Four more years of Trump and Pence would mean the end of Obamacare, the end of DACA, and 2 or more hard-right justices on the Supreme Court who would harm abortion access, LGBTQ+ rights, and immigrants for generations to come.

Our democracy cannot survive another four years of Donald Trump and Mike Pence. We need every single committed Democrat to vote for Joe Biden and Kamala Harris. The stakes are too high to stay home or vote for a third party candidate this year.
