With the election quickly approaching, the Left is starting to show their true colors.

At the Democratic Convention, Bernie Sanders slammed President Trump for his “authoritarian tendencies”, pledging to elect Joe Biden to combat Trump’s “dictatorial rule.”

But here’s the true irony: Sanders and Biden would have to rely on authoritarianism to implement the policies they’re proposing.

Sanders called for a $15/hr minimum wage. How would he accomplish this goal? By using the power of the federal government to force a higher minimum wage down the throats of all 50 states.

He also proposed 12 weeks of paid family leave. How would he do this? By taking control of the human resource departments of ALL U.S. businesses.

Next, he vowed to transition the country “to 100 percent clean electricity over the next fifteen years.” That means top-down laws, taxes, and regulations that make energy more expensive for Americans and run the coal and oil industries into the ground.

While socialists claim to advocate for the “working man,” they propose top-down policies that DESTROY the rights of all Americans to govern themselves.

America is great because it’s free. Let’s keep it that way.

We’re working to call a Convention of States where the states can propose amendments that limit the power and jurisdiction of the federal government and stop authoritarian laws and regulations in their tracks.

It takes 34 states to call an Article V convention and fifteen are already on board.
