Patriot, running for Congress and flying 12,000lb Navy helicopters have some similarities. I know it sounds crazy, but just hear me out…
I’m Jen Kiggans: I’m a Navy veteran who flew H-46 and H-3 helicopters in the Persian Gulf. These massive machines are complicated; you’re sitting in a loud, tight, shaking cabin for hours on end, and you’re flying over waters where there’s no good place to land in case of emergency.
1. We have a duty of service to our country. Even when you’re in less-than-ideal situations, we must put that duty before our own comfort.
2. We can only succeed by working as a team.
These lessons helped me when I felt the call to serve my country again in Congress. Even though I no longer wear a flight suit, I fight to put YOU and our country first every day in Congress.
Here’s the deal: I’m used to high-pressure situations in the Navy, so even though a Democrat Super PAC named me a TOP TARGET and is already spreading lies about me, I won’t back down. I can’t fight these attacks alone, though, so I’m hoping I can count on you in this time of need.
I really wish I didn’t need to send these sorts of emails, asking for your money, but it’s the only way I can stay afloat when the Democrats launch negative TV ads, slanderous billboards, and pay leftist protestors to derail my town halls.
