Voters across the state -- Republican and Democrat -- have reached out to pledge their support, make a contribution, and ask for a yard sign.
John,
I have been so humbled by the outpouring of support that we have received this week since we officially kicked off the general election against Lt. Gov. Tate Reeves.
Voters across the state -- Republican and Democrat -- have reached out to pledge their support, make a contribution, and ask for a yard sign. I’m so grateful to see Mississippians rallying around our campaign and our vision for this great state.
Your support has been incredible, but I need to ask for your help once more. Today is our end-of-month fundraising deadline, and it’s crucial that we make August our strongest month yet.
Will you make a contribution before midnight tonight?
I know that Tate Reeves will be working overtime to rebuild his war chest after his bruising primary, and we can’t afford to let him pull ahead.
Kandi and Meg let me know that all contributions through the end of the month will be matched by a group of supporters, and I was blown away. It’s clear that momentum is on our side as we enter the general election.
I wouldn’t have entered this race if I didn’t think we could win, and I’m more convinced than ever that we will defeat Tate Reeves in November and build a better Mississippi for everyone.
We can’t do it alone. Can I count on you to help us end the month strong?
Thank you, and I hope you enjoy a safe long weekend with your families.
-- Jim
