Really??

Big (bad) news from The Intercept: Senate Democrats' Campaign Arm Is
Pressuring Consultants Not To Work With Leading Progressive Candidate In
Colorado

This is nuts. A progressive governor just won by over 10 points in
Colorado by campaigning on Medicare For All. Progressive U.S. Senate
candidate (and former CO House Speaker) Andrew Romanoff is running on
Medicare For All and already raised $1 million.

So, the national Democratic establishment tells smart operatives not to
help progressives flip this Republican seat? (Worse...they do this so Dems
can potentially lose with conservative John Hickenlooper, who inspired
nobody in the presidential race?)

[ [link removed] ]Please. Right now. Fight back. Donate $3 to Andrew Romanoff's campaign
so he can hire smart operatives who don't care what the national
establishment thinks -- and send a signal that progressive candidates can
and will win in 2020. Please donate here.

Details from the story:

* The Democratic Senatorial Campaign Committee "pressured consultants
from at least five firms not to work with a leading progressive in the
race."
* "At least five firms and 25 prospective staff turned down working with
his campaign....citing pressure from the DSCC."
* A consultant who spoke to The Intercept on the condition of anonymity
said that their firm had been far along in talks to work for
Romanoff...The firm was told by a top DSCC staffer that they
"absolutely under no circumstances could work for Andrew Romanoff, so
we withdrew our offer to be his consulting firm."

[ [link removed] ]Fight back. Here. Now.

This follows the ridiculous #Blacklist of progressive consultants from the
Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee -- which backfired and ended
up raising money for progressive House candidates.

"First they came for the House candidates; now they’re gonna come for the
Senate candidates," said Heather Brewer, who is managing the Senate
campaign of New Mexico Secretary of State Maggie Toulouse Oliver, a
progressive who was snubbed by the DSCC.

[ [link removed] ]Fight back. Here. Now. Donate $3 or more to help Andrew Romanoff flip
the Colorado Senate seat from Republican to progressive.

Thanks for being a bold progressive.

Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez told PCCC members, "The majority of Americans are with us on the policies. Americans support Medicare for All, expanding Social Security benefits, gun reform, debt-free college, and a $15 minimum wage. Bold progressive values are popular EVERYWHERE. Together, we have the people. Together, with your help, we’ll have the votes." Chip in $3 here: [link removed]
