John,
Democrats hold just a third of Colorado's county commission seats — the offices deciding housing, water, wildfire readiness, and whether rural towns keep a hospital.
That percentage gets smaller when you add county clerks who run our elections, the spear tip of our democracy, and sheriffs sworn to keep our communities safe.
There are so many county-level seats that shape our daily lives, and we too often concede them to Republicans without a fight. In 2024, we decided enough was enough. We built the Colorado County Comeback and invested $50,000 into 17 county parties, in some places doubling their entire budget.
The result? Nearly 60,000 doors and 23,000 calls made in rural and red counties most people had written off, with real gains in places like Mesa, El Paso, Douglas, and Grand, moving those and other counties towards Democrats.
This is what real investment in growing our Party looks like. It works. So we're relaunching it bigger and earlier in 2026 to get resources into communities without delay. These grants will help us reach more voters, protect the right to vote, and ensure we're building infrastructure everywhere.
Congressman Jason Crow is supporting this effort, and we're asking you to join him. Will you chip in $25 to help a local candidate knock the next door?
