You're invited to one of the most joyful events of the summer.

Join us for the Black Girl Wrap-Up ([link removed]) , our annual celebration of the creativity, brilliance, and boldness of Black girls!

Friday, July 10th
12-4 PM

John Marshall Ballrooms
101 North 5th Street
Richmond, Virginia

This year, we're going bigger.

A Fireside Chat with Charis Jones

Sistah Charis ([link removed]) will join Peer Advisor Milani Hopkins to talk about confidence, ownership, vision, and what it truly means to build something from what you have. The conversation will center on participants' own commitments this summer — from relationships and social and emotional development to working jobs to help fund their journey to Ghana.

A Send-Off to Remember
Join in a special send-off celebration for Her Journey Home ([link removed]) participants as they prepare to travel to Ghana. These young women have worked and fundraised all year to make this trip happen. This is their moment, and we want the whole community there to send them off right.

Education Fund Scholarship Awards
We will honor our graduating seniors and announce the Education Fund scholarship award winners, recognizing their hard work, their futures, and everything they've overcome to get here.

This event is open to the community. Individual Tickets are $35, two-ticket packages are $60, and table sponsorships are $1,000.

All proceeds support the sustainability of Girls For A Change, helping us continue to prepare Black girls for the world and the world for Black girls through leadership development, educational opportunities, cultural experiences, and year-round programming.

** Sit with Us – Table Sponsorships
------------------------------------------------------------

This year we're reimagining the seating and the opportunity. Businesses, civic groups, faith based organizations, foundations, and community leaders are invited to sponsor a table and sit alongside GFAC participants. As generational gaps grow across families, communities, and the workforce, youth engagement is more important than ever. We need each other. This is a chance to build meaningful connections, share perspectives, and help shape the future together.

Sponsoring a table allows guests to:

• Celebrate the accomplishments of participants
• Hear directly from participants about their experiences and growth.
• Learn more about our programs.
• Help provide the resources needed to sustain and grow our work.
• Show participants that they remain valued, supported, and worthy of investment.

Table sponsors will receive access to an exclusive meet and greet with Charis Jones and Ruby Scoops before the celebration begins. Each sponsored table seats eight guests and is intentionally designed to foster meaningful connection, with four sponsor representatives and four GFAC participants seated together.
