I voted NO on the Republican budget.

Families across WA-06 are struggling with the cost of groceries, gas, housing, child care, and health care. Congress should be focused on making life more affordable for working people.

Instead, Republicans put forward a budget that does nothing to lower costs for families.

* Nothing to lower gas prices.
* Nothing to lower grocery costs.
* Nothing to lower health care costs.
* Nothing to lower child care costs.

And instead of prioritizing affordability, it moves resources toward partisan priorities while leaving working families to carry more of the burden.

I came to Congress to fight for an economy that works for the people I represent.

That’s why I voted no, but I also know this fight doesn’t end with one vote.

We need a Congress that puts working families first, starting with winning back the House in November so we can set a better direction in January 2027. That’s why I’m supporting candidates in tough swing districts across the country who are on the front lines of that fight.
