I wanted to take a moment and wish you all a very Happy Pride Month! 🏳️‍🌈

As a long-standing member of the Congressional Equality Caucus, fighting for equal rights for my LGBTQ+ peers is deeply important to me, John. 

I’ve seen up close and personal what the community is fighting against.

Just this year alone, over 530 Anti-LGBTQ bills have been introduced – these attacks on our friends and neighbors are rampant, and they aren’t slowing down. 

I’m running for re-election so I can continue to be a firewall against these hateful bills, and I won’t rest until equal rights under the law are signed, sealed and delivered. 

Whether it’s fighting for the bogus Defense of Marriage Act or gutting access to gender-affirming care, Trump and his MAGA allies in Congress are working overtime to sign their hateful rhetoric into law.

I’m here to make sure that doesn’t happen.
