I’m thrilled to share this news with you,
John:

[ [link removed] ]A post on X from @azfamily: 'Gov. Hobbs signs $18B Arizona budget after
months of negotiations'. It includes a link to an article and a picture of
Katie Hobbs signing the budget.

After months of hard work and negotiation across the aisle, my Arizona
First bipartisan budget officially passed in the state legislature, and
I’ve since signed it into law.

This state budget is historic for several reasons, including:

✅ Granting $1.4 billion in tax cuts for working-class Arizonans.

✅ Issuing a 3-year moratorium on tax giveaways for new data centers — the
toughest in the country!

✅ Investing in wildfire protection, public schools, water security, and
more.

Despite some far-right Republicans’ efforts to deeply slash essential
services, we pushed back on those cuts and won, guaranteeing no cuts to
SNAP benefits and protecting 40,000 Arizonans from being kicked off their
Arizona Medicaid plans.

This budget shows what we can get done when we're willing to compromise
and focus on what's right for Arizona, especially as prices continue to
rise due to Washington’s misguided agenda.

I’m extremely proud that throughout my time as governor, we have always
passed bipartisan and balanced budgets that have cut taxes for Arizona’s
working families — and with your support, I plan to keep it that way for
another four years.

and ensure that Arizonans can get ahead: pitch in $5 or
more to fuel our grassroots campaign!
