John,

We know there’s a clear choice between Carolyn Long and her Republican opponent Jaime Herrera Beutler.

But the differences became all the more clear when the two candidates for Washington’s 3rd congressional district sat down (virtually) for the first time during this race with The Columbian to talk about the issues.

While Herrera Beutler voted countless times with her party to dismantle the Affordable Care Act and gut protections for people with pre-existing conditions, Carolyn is committed to not only defending the ACA, but creating a low-deductible public option to make health care even more accessible and affordable.

While Herrera Beutler fully supported the Trump tax cuts to corporations and the wealthiest few, Carolyn knows that the benefits failed to trickle down to working and middle class families in Southwest Washington, and only added to the federal deficit which her daughter’s generation will end up paying for.

The choice is clear on November 3rd: now, we have just about two months left to get the word out across Southwest Washington and build support to elect Carolyn.

With our end-of-month fundraising deadline coming up one week from today, can you fuel our campaign to help Carolyn Flip the 3rd by chipping in $10 or more now?
