Taking back the Senate isn’t just about gaining seats.
We can’t flip the Senate and remove Majority Leader Mitch McConnell from leadership without protecting the blue seats that we already have. We need to do everything we can to make sure Sens. Cory Booker (NJ), Doug Jones (AL), Gary Peters (MI), Jeanne Shaheen (NH), Tina Smith (MN), and Mark Warner (VA) return to the Senate next year.
John, these six Senate incumbents are being targeted by Republicans, and they need resources to fight back against the incoming attacks. If you can, will you split a contribution between their campaigns and mine?
If you've saved your payment information with ActBlue Express, your donation will go through immediately and split between Cory Booker, Doug Jones, Gary Peters, Jeanne Shaheen, Tina Smith, Mark Warner and Thomas Carper:
We can’t afford to write off New Jersey as a blue state, because Republicans are waging a “blue-state invasion” in the Garden State, and Cory’s opponent has invested $300,000 of his own money and is planning to spend even more.
Polls show Doug’s race in Alabama is neck and neck, and outside groups are pouring millions of dollars to boost Doug’s opponent who said he “wouldn’t have a clue” how to handle the pandemic. Doug is leading the charge to ensure no child goes hungry, folks can keep their homes, and everyone can access critical health care.
Both Nate Silver’s FiveThirtyEight and CBS say Gary’s race in Michigan will decide control of the Senate, and Gary is up against an opponent who said he “stands with Trump 2,000%.”
Jeanne’s Trump-endorsed opponent in New Hampshire has already spent $4 million of his own personal wealth on his campaign and is planning to spend millions more on ads attacking Jeanne before November.
Tina is competing in Minnesota in back-to-back races after winning a special election in 2018, and this time, polls show her race against a Trump-endorsed right-wing talk show host and former congressman is within the margin of error.
Mark won re-election in Virginia in 2014 by less than one point, and now, he’s running against an opponent who has praised Trump’s handling of the pandemic and compared wearing a mask to “tyranny.”
We can’t afford to lose any ground in the Senate. If you can, please split a contribution between these six Senate incumbents’ campaigns and mine today.
Thank you,
TC
