This is the kind of national exposure that can bring in tons of outside money and make a big difference in a race as close as ours. We need your help to make sure that doesn't happen: We're setting a goal to raise $5,000 before he steps on stage Wednesday night so we can compete with these national donors. We know that national Republicans are all in for our opponent. But allowing him to speak at this event is the biggest national platform they can give him, and it's clear they're pulling out all the stops to help him defeat Ben in November.

As Ben's finance director, it's my job to make sure we have the funds to go toe-to-toe with the national donors we're up against -- and right now that means growing this grassroots movement to meet this moment.
