I grew up playing hockey. You learn pretty quickly that you have to play by the rules – not only because of the refs but because of the guys on the other team. Now, imagine if the other team could still hit you, and the refs also allowed them to bring an extra player onto the ice.

That’s what’s happening all across the country.

Multiple states have completely ripped up their congressional maps and redrawn them—even after the primaries have already started. They’re using this last-minute gerrymandering to try to grab up to 20 extra seats so they can hold onto their power in the House.

They are doing this because they know they can't win on their actual record.

This development changes the math, and it makes our fight right here in Minnesota’s 8th District more critical than ever. Flipping this district could be the exact seat that wipes out their rigged majority and flips control of the House. I’m asking you to step into this fight with me by pitching in $5 to my campaign to flip MN-8 today. Right now, Pete Stauber and his buddies in Congress are acting as a rubber stamp, letting this rogue administration run wild without an ounce of oversight or accountability.

They are abusing the Constitution, ignoring the rule of law, and enacting policies that are driving up the price of gas and groceries for working families.

Even worse, when Congress actually passed a bill, it was to gut Medicare and food assistance to fund another billionaire tax cut.

I’ve lived the reality of needing food stamps. I know the sting of an electricity shut-off notice. And I know exactly what happens to working folks when politicians in D.C. decide to sell us out to the highest bidder.

Pete Stauber is complicit in all of it.

They want to rig the maps and change the rules? Fine. We’ll have to outwork them, out-organize them, and beat them at the ballot box. But I cannot build the grassroots machine we need to pull off this upset without you.
