The hardest, but most rewarding job I have is being a dad to Leonardo. Watching him grow up has been the greatest joy of my life.
And as he's gotten older and started school, I've seen our community through his eyes. He's going to inherit what we build here. That thought follows me, and it's one of the reasons I decided to run for office.

To the dads and father figures working early mornings and late nights, coaching on weekends, and giving guidance and advice, you are the backbone of what makes this community worth fighting for.
Dedication to our children is the most powerful investment any of us can make in the future of this district. When I'm in Tallahassee, I’ll be committed to fighting for affordable childcare, for our teachers and our public schools, and to protecting our environment.
