Congressman John Lewis was one of the most influential Black leaders in our lifetimes, John. In his 80 years, he:
- Played a major role in securing voting rights for Black Americans
- Helped end legalized racial segregation in the United States
- Chaired the Student Nonviolent Coordinating Committee
- Was the youngest member of the “Big Six” Civil Rights leaders
- Led the first historic march across the Edmund Pettus Bridge in Selma, Alabama
But Donald Trump is committed to destroying his legacy. His MAGA Justices in the Supreme Court even GUTTED the Voting Rights Act – the bill that John Lewis fought and bled for to pass!
