With a new poll showing me slightly ahead of Republican Jon Husted in Ohio’s must-win Senate race, the energy is high, and folks are fired up about the grassroots movement we’re building. I want to say thank you.

I’m incredibly grateful for the thousands of folks who have chipped in to get us to this point. It’s already making a big difference in a race that will be fought along the margins.

But right now, we have a problem:

National Republicans are hammering me with attacks, and they’re outspending us. They’re pouring $83 million into Ohio to defeat me – and with experts shifting this race further in our direction, calling it a “Toss Up” – you can bet this is just the tip of the iceberg.

The worst thing we could do right now is take our foot off the gas, so I have to ask: Will you make your first donation today to help us fight back against the GOP, win in Ohio, and flip the Senate?
