I had to reach back out to you one more time because this is so important. Trump’s top two officials at the Department of Homeland Security, Chad Wolf and Ken Cuccinelli, who are responsible for separating countless families this year, have been found to be serving in their positions unlawfully.
Now is the time to take action and demand Wolf and Cuccinelli’s resignations. Sign the petition now.

John,
Last Friday, the Government Accountability Office
found that Chad Wolf, Acting Department of Homeland Security Secretary, and Ken Cuccinelli, who has been running U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services, were unlawfully serving in those roles.
In other words, the top two officials in Trump’s Department of Homeland Security, which oversees this country’s immigration agencies, don’t have the legal authority to be working their jobs.
This is a big deal. Wolf and Cuccinelli have done heinous things to migrant families. Now, we have an opportunity to remove them both from office at the same time. That's why Families Belong Together is teaming up with one of our partners, the Asylum Seeker Advocacy Project, an organization that offers legal services to migrant families, to demand Wolf and Cuccinelli's resignation.
Wolf and Cuccinelli must resign. Sign the petition here to demand their immediate resignation.
During their time at DHS, Wolf and Cuccinelli have separated countless families, overseen numerous deaths in ICE detention centers, deported children alone without their family’s knowledge, tried to dismantle DACA, and deployed Customs and Border Patrol agents against protestors marching for Black lives. And that’s just scratching the surface.
Removing the top two officials from Trump’s DHS will severely undermine this administration’s ability to harm families in the coming months. In order to do that, every single one of us needs to act right now to demand Wolf and Cuccinelli’s immediate resignation.
Take action now. Add your name here to demand Wolf and Cuccinelli step down.
Family separation and detention is bigger than any two individual officials. The struggle for real justice for migrant families will continue long after Wolf and Cuccinelli step down, and removing them from office is imperative to making that kind of justice possible.
We’re in this together for the long haul, and we’ll keep fighting long after this moment. But right now, we have to strike while the iron is hot, and it’ll take all of us speaking up to ensure Wolf and Cuccinelli leave office for good.
Let’s do this,
