Hello —
In a few moments, I am going to ask you to make a contribution to our re-election campaign as part of our emergency fundraising push for August. I hope you’ll give me a chance to explain why this matters:
As you know, the general election has begun. We won our primary earlier this month, I officially have a GOP opponent, and Donald Trump will be named the Republican nominee for President of the United States at this week’s convention. It’s been a hectic month, to say the least.
Meanwhile, million-dollar checks signed by the Trump campaign are flooding into Minnesota — totaling more than $14 million at this point. It feels like every day brings new false attacks, more outside money, and surprise visits by Trump himself.
It’s the worst of Washington politics, but it’s nothing we can’t overcome if enough folks like you continue to stand with our campaign. That’s why I’m asking:
Will you rush an urgent donation of $10 to our campaign before our end-of-month deadline? We’re falling just short of our goal for August and your support will ensure we have the resources to continue fighting back against Republican attacks.
If you've saved your payment information with ActBlue Express, your donation will go through immediately:

This upcoming deadline will be a critical moment for our campaign. We need to hunker down to reach our grassroots fundraising goal because we cannot afford to fall short — not as we head into the final two months of this election.
If we gather the resources needed to build a winning campaign, then there's nothing Mitch McConnell or his dark money network can do to stop us.
Counting on you today.
