John,

The wildfires raging across California the past few days are some of the worst our Golden State has ever seen.

Over One Million acres have burned. Families have lost their homes. People have lost their lives. And our firefighters are risking life and limb, doing everything they can to keep the fires at bay to protect even more lives, property, and wildlife.

But our resources are limited. And while Governor Newsom and I, as well as my colleagues in the House, have urged FEMA and the White House to expedite a Major Disaster Declaration, I know the families and first responders need relief now.

So today, John, I’m asking for your help. If you’re able — will you consider making a donation to the California Community Foundation’s Wildfire Relief Fund to help all those impacted by the California wildfires?

Thank you so much for your support. We’ll get through this, together.
