Hi
John,
Every year in the U.S., more than a quarter of a million people are diagnosed with breast cancer. Many of these people have no family history of the disease, which raises the question “What causes breast cancer?” Research increasingly finds environmental links to the disease, including exposures to fossil fuel-based chemicals.

In early August we released our Why We Must Stop Fossil Fuels fact sheet ([link removed]) which reveals the connections between the fossil fuel industry, breast cancer, and the devastating systemic problems at the core of it all.

Today we are releasing accompanying sharable visuals that expose the fossil fuel industry for what it is—toxic! These images make clearer how every step of the fossil fuel continuum harms our communities and they visually link extraction, manufacturing and processing, and products and byproducts to our individual body burden. To learn more, get your copies of the infographics ([link removed]) and spread the word about the fossil-fueled breast cancer crisis!

Infographics are available for download on our website ([link removed]) and are sharable on our Facebook ([link removed]) and Twitter ([link removed]) . Visit our website ([link removed]) to learn how you can join us to turn off the tap to the cancer-causing fossil fuel industry!
In solidarity,
