City offices are closed Friday June 19th in observance of Juneteenth. City offices will be open for regular business hours on Monday June 22.
Municipal Campus Building Project
Mendota Heights is planning for a new City Hall and Police Station building. Project details and design will be developed throughout 2026, with anticipated construction beginning in 2027. The new facility is scheduled to open in fall of 2028.
In response to community feedback to reduce the scope and cost of the project, at the June 16th City Council Work Session, the City Council gave direction to revise the project scope to meet current needs with options for future expansion. Staff are currently reviewing project designs to adjust to the revised scope.
The application from Buell Consulting (The Towers LLC) for a Conditional Use Permit for a new wireless monopole at Wentworth Park has been tabled by the Planning Commission. The City is waiting for revised plans and will schedule the application on a future Planning Commission meeting date.

Teens are invited out to the parks for "teen hangouts"! Equipment will be set-up and available for free use from 7-8:30pm various dates throughout the Summer. Slack lines, hammocks, yard games and more will be available!
