Make no mistake, John -- a lot of that money will be coming straight at us here in ME-02. Dark money backers propped up candidates in the GOP primary for this seat, and they’ve been attacking Jared directly for years.

We’re going to need considerable resources to respond to the record-breaking amounts of dark money that will be flooding this district over the next few months -- so can we count on you to chip in any amount today?

This is nothing new, John.

In 2018, when Jared first ran for this seat, dark money groups came out in full force to make sure he didn’t win.

Why? Because they knew then, as they know now, that he’s an independent voice who won’t let his votes be bought or his leadership be compromised.

But as they pour even more money into this race to bolster our opponent, we’re going to need this grassroots team to rise to the occasion and help us keep up the fight.

We’ll win this race this year the same we won it in 2018 -- with the support of the hard-working families who we’re proud to have on our grassroots team. But our win is not assured, so we have to ask -- can you chip in a few bucks today?
