Last night we fell about $11,957 short of our emergency fundraising goal. So, I made the decision to extend our deadline to midnight.

The latest poll shows our race is within single digits right now, Republican groups are outspending us 2:1, and our media tracking team is saying it will only get worse in September.

That’s why I told my campaign manager to approve a large media buy starting tomorrow even though we don’t yet have the funds to pay for it.

I did it because we have to. I did it because I have trust in this team, and I know we can muster the resources necessary to hit this goal. And when we do, we’ll be significantly closer to flipping this Senate seat blue.
