Friend,
On Saturday, I joined my Democratic colleagues in passing emergency funding to support the U.S. Postal Service and block disruptive organizational changes ahead of this fall's election.
The stories about what's happening are real. Post office boxes are being removed. Sorting machines are being dismantled. Mail is being lost and delayed.
The GOP is spinning this to be a partisan vote -- and they'll use it against Democrats running this year, including me. That's why I'm hoping you'll fight back against that partisan dark money by investing $5 or more right now to support my reelection, and support the steady, moral leadership that Minnesotans look for every day in Congress.

This vote doesn't fix everything, but it takes important action to keep the U.S. Postal Service afloat and to stop the chaos happening behind the scenes. When so many Americans depend on the mail, especially in a global pandemic, the postal service shouldn't be partisan -- that's why I voted to send $25 billion of emergency funding.
But I also want to underscore that this is part of a pattern we must break in Washington -- the U.S. Postal Service is being run by a postmaster who is a massive Republican and Trump donor. That sort of pay-to-play politics must end if we hope to restore faith in our government.
I'll keep fighting for steady, principled leadership in our government agencies. That's why I voted to fund the U.S. Postal Service this weekend, and it's why I'll keep fighting dark money interference in our politics. That makes me a target, so I hope you'll step up now: Will you chip in $5 or more to show your investment in my leadership in Washington, D.C.?
